Judy Murray
Associate Production Manager
Ireland

I have worked in broadcasting and the music business for over 20 years.  My career started in RTE (Irish Television) and was followed by some time with the ABC in Sydney where I worked on the award winning current affairs programme Four Corners.
I returned to Ireland to work on the series Bringing It All Back Home.  Over the years I have tour managed a variety of musicians and bands including Sharon Shannon and Donal Lunny and have traveled to shows and festivals throughout Europe, the US and Japan.
My work has also involved coordinating numerous albums and one off music projects including festivals in The Barbican in London, The Kennedy Centre in Washington and the opening ceremony for the Ryder Cup in Dublin in 2006.  Many of these projects were televised and I worked as liaison between the musical production and television.  Recently, while still continuing in the music business, I have worked as production manager on documentaries as diverse as Duncan’s Stewart’s Chernobyl Diaries - a film on Eco Tourism, the life of singer Noirin Ni Riain, and also  spent several months in RTE’s archive unit researching a series on changes in the Irish lifestyle.
